Before we dive in, it’s good to know that our indoor amusement park is for kids up to 11 years old. Due to this age limit, the benefits we offer don’t apply to other age groups. So, if you want to give kids up to 11 years old an awesome day, KidZcity is the place to be, and we’re not just saying that ourselves, our reviews say it too. KidZcity is a true indoor amusement park, with real attractions. Although we don’t have roller coasters or water slides, kids from 4 years old can enjoy everything by themselves, the smaller guests will need some guidance from a parent. From the Horse Carousel to the Balloonride, cool rotating attractions that you can also find in most outdoor amusement parks, just in a slightly different form.
But the beauty of KidZcity is that you don’t have to stand in winding queues for hours, you don’t have to pay extra for individual attractions, and you’re always dry and comfortable. Our entire amusement park (5,000 m2) is completely covered. This makes it much more manageable right away. Especially when the kids are a bit older, you don’t have to walk around the whole park with them. As a parent (or grandparent), you can sit comfortably on one of our cosy indoor terraces, with a good overview of the area, while the kids have fun. How nice is that!?

Indoor Amusement Park vs. Fairground
The fairground is wonderfully nostalgic, but you can have just as much fun at KidZcity. Maybe even more! The first big advantage is, of course, that we’re always here, all year round. We’re open every day (except Mondays) from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. During official school holidays in the Middle and North of the Netherlands, we’re even open every day! And whereas you have to pay for each individual attraction at the fairground, all attractions at KidZcity are included in the entrance fee. So, you can ride an attraction as many times as you want. If you’re a huge fan of the bumper cars, it doesn’t matter to us if you go on them 5, 10, or 20 times. As long as you give other children a chance for a ride too, of course. That’s another advantage of KidZcity, you only play here with kids your own age. There are no older kids around who might handle the bumper cars or laser tag differently. The perfect safe place to stroll around without worries!
Indoor Amusement Park vs. Indoor Playground
And although we sometimes call ourselves an indoor playground too, we’re definitely an indoor amusement park. Because where else can you play laser tag, ride bumper cars, or take a safari train through the jungle? But of course, you’ll also find the coolest climbing structures in KidZcity that you see in most indoor playgrounds. Besides all those cool rotating attractions and laser tag, you can also get lost in the climbing maze or crown yourself prince or princess of the KidZcity castle. Do you dare to climb all the way to the top while it’s thundering and lightning above the castle? Super happy children can also produce a super amount of noise. Now that’s not a bad thing, but when you have 10 screaming children in your living room during a children’s party, you might be a little less enthusiastic as a parent. Jumping on the sofa, sliding on the floor, doors being slammed, a yellow toilet seat. And this is just a best-case scenario! Avoid all those pesky party side-effects, and come to KidZcity. A city for kids where everything is set up for awesome fun. With 14 different slides, all of our guests can slide down again and again. Climbing up the air castle is still fun for the advanced climber and of course screaming, laughing and making noise is no problem at KidZcity. No neighbours here who have to put on their noise-cancelling headphones for a few hours. Thanks to the good acoustics, we certainly don’t belong in the “palace of screams” category.
Creative children’s parties at KidZcity
One child is not like another. The children invited will therefore have different interests. Some like sports, others like colouring and crafts or both. Getting creative during a birthday party is also possible at KidZcity. The creative attraction ViZcity is perfect for this! The kids choose one of the six (sea) animal pictures and colour it in according to their taste. By scanning the drawing, the sea creature comes to life on the big screen. Rather be creative on stage? We have a theatre too! The stage is all yours.

By celebrating your child’s party at KidZcity, you save yourself a lot of hassle. No mess at home, no preparation (apart from the invitation and transport) and a good chance that all the kids will find something fun to do at KidZcity. Should the adults not want to use the children’s party package, they only pay for the entrance.
Party without cake? unimaginable. You are therefore allowed to bring your own birthday cake to a KidZcity children’s party. If you drop the cake off at the restaurant, we will keep it in the fridge (if there is enough space available). We do not mind if you bring your own decorated plates and cutlery but also have them available in our restaurant if needed.
Each package can be expanded with fun distribution candy bags, these are €1.50 each.
In KidZcity we play on socks. This is mandatory for safety and hygiene reasons. So pull your most colourful party socks out of the closet already!
Celebrate your children’s party on Tuesday or Thursday. Then it is nice and quiet (outside the official school holidays of Central and Northern Netherlands). Feel free to call in advance if you are planning a school trip.
The children’s party must be paid for at the entrance in full.
