A day full of fun
A day full of fun in all attractions, including the horse carrousel, balloon ride and safari train. You can climb, slide down one of the many slides or bump into friends with the bumper cars. And there is more! Like special performances in the theatre and occasional visits from Z, the mascot. There is a fully equipped restaurant, but feel free to take in some drink cartons or a sandwich with you from home. As long as you don’t bring entire meals we won’t complain 😉
Great toddler attractions
In KidZcity, we think of all ages. That is why we have a special area just for the little ones. They have their own racing track, where they can power their own little car while learning both about road safety and balance. Children over the age of five are not allowed in this area. Employees of KidZcity walk around and send older kids to other attractions so the smaller kids can safely play without being run over. The area around the race track is marked with benches where parents can keep an eye on their playing children.
Playing and learning
While playing, toddlers can learn about the way their body moves by driving around in a figure eight, navigate the roundabouts, and learn about traffic lights. They also learn about paying attention to their surrounding area and keep their distance from others. They can’t just drive off, as the area is separated from the rest of the hall by benches.
And a playground for small children is not complete without a ball pit, off course. This is fun for toddlers, and also teaches them about hand-eye coordination. The friendly colours also helps with stimulating the senses, entertaining children for hours. And what can be more fun than just rolling around amongst the plastic balls with your best friends?
Mascot Z also likes to play
In the theatre, you can build with big Lego bricks, which helps toddlers to learn how to play and share. The best and most creative buildings are constructed here! Sometimes, the door in the theatre will open up as Z is ready to play too! Z is our big crocodile friend, who crawled out of his giant egg a few years ago. The egg was found in our jungle, where Freek Vonk came and investigated the origins of the creature who laid it. The expert immediately saw that it was a crocodile egg. When he was born, the name was given to him by local children, and it is pronounced Zed! This fits the KidZcity theme well! If your toddler is done playing, why not visit the jungle where Z came from? There are more animals, including tigers, bears, monkeys and other crocodiles too! The monkeys even threw their own party, with a glow-in-the-dark area in the jungle. It is a great experience for toddlers, who can also make animal sounds with the buttons on the train.
What else is in the toddler area?
Next to the area, you can find a changing room. The pamper corner, which is what we call the toddler area, is also near the toilets, for the small ones who are ready for real porcelain. There are small, seatless toilets for kids, and faucets at multiple levels to make sure everyone is able to clean their hands.
